I have been interested in the paranormal since a young child.  In my first home, I started experiencing things I couldn’t explain around the age of four.  My sister and I would hear strange noises, footsteps and see a large black shadow mass from time to time.  At that age I was very frightened - yet too afraid to talk to anyone about it.  Around the age  12 I witnessed what I believe to be a UFO in my hometown of Ashland Nebraska.  That was the age where I really started getting curious in the unexplained and paranormal world.  I had many terrifying experiences as a child - including one incident around the age of 16 where something unseen crawled out from underneath my bed, laid next to me and growled in my ear.  As I’ve gotten older, I’m more curious than terrified when I have something happen that I can’t explain.  Up unto this day I still experience paranormal activity – it seems to follow me.

I worked with Paracon for the past five years before joining D.A.M.M (with fellow Paracon teammates whom have also become my best friends ).  I seem to have a talent for capturing EVPs while on investigations and I also have a love for the Spirit Box.  The more I utilize the spirit box, the more “in-tune” I become on understanding what to listen for and how to better communicate with those wishing to speak.  I know I will always be curious about the paranormal and will always be searching for evidence and answers.

My interest in the paranormal began around the age 8 in the house my parents still live in today. I have seen shadows throughout the house, ghostly faces in the basement, heard footsteps and running in the hall upstairs. My mother has also experienced the paranormal at a young age, so we talked freely about it in our home. Some things that I have experienced terrified me and some made me curious. My sister and I both heard my grandfather call out my sister’s name, seconds after we heard him my grandmother called us to tell us he had passed.  I still experience the paranormal to this day. I understand what people are going through when they experience unexplained activity in their home, which is why I have chosen to investigate the paranormal, to help the client, to help the dead and to get a better understanding of the paranormal world.

I was with Paracon about 2 1/2 years before I and 3 fellow teammates decided to start our own group, D.A.M.M. Ladies of the Paranormal. I couldn't ask for better teammates, my paranormal sisters.

I am the 3rd generation of mediums from my mother's side of the family.  I see and speak with the dead exactly like I do the living. They are apparitions just as solid as you and I.  The first time that I can remember having an actual conversation with spirit was when I was just four years old.  My brother and I wandered away from our mom during a family reunion of at least a hundred people.  We found ourselves in an old church building with many rooms.  I had heard a noise, and when I turned to see there was an old black man following us.  He had the bluest eyes and the kindest smile. I remember thinking, "His eyes twinkle like Santa!" When he spoke, he told us not to worry and which doors and turns we needed to take to find mom.  As my brother ran down the hallway, I chased after him. I turned to give the old black man a wave, only to see the man was gone.  Later, when we told our family that we were scared and lost and that the nice man helped us, everyone had a confused look and gaping mouths. The building had been locked up and unused for years.  It was a mystery how a 4 and 5 year old even found their way in, since all the doors were locked.  After this, I could see and hear them often (maybe a few days a week).

I don't remember ever being scared of the dead.  It didn't matter if they were still in death's state or if they wore that heavenly glow; 99% of the time I felt comfortable talking to them.  My abilities are a gift.  I still have a relationship with my grandmother that died when I was 5 months old.  I don't know too many people that can say that.

From the ages of 16 to 19, my spiritual visits became a blur and were blocked.  I was diagnosed with brain cancer at 16.  It was treated with surgery and 35 days of radiation.  As soon as I was in remission from this, I was having breast surgery to remove a tumor at 19.  It seemed as if my gift was back and stronger than ever after this.

My first professional reading was a few months before I turned 20.  It was for an old friend of my mom's that lived in central Texas.  After this reading, I was very confident that I could help people – both living and dead.  I have helped people in Hospice quite a few times since then.  To be able to sit with someone who is scared of dying and then be able to change that fear is a blessing and an honor for me.  As I gave them messages from their loved ones (who stood beside their very beds) and then told them what Heaven was like, the pain and fear was replaced with relief and love.

Currently, I belong with two paranormal groups:  Haunting Investigations of Fort Collins, Colorado and D.A.M.M. Ladies of the Paranormal of Omaha, Nebraska.  Before D.A.M.M.  I worked with Paracon of Omaha/Lincoln, Nebraska for about 2 and half years.  I love being part of a paranormal team and having the opportunity to help so many people.

My interest in the paranormal began in the early 90's. I lived in California with my husband and 5 daughters. The house we lived in was a typical family home, or so we thought. We would hear whispering which at times it felt like it was right in our ears. We saw very menacing shadows and one night our Australian Sheppard was thrown against our fence.

We came to the conclusion that our home had paranormal activity. However, we had no one to turn to.  I read every book I could find on the subject and still no concrete solution was found. At that point, we decided to move.

Enter Ghost Hunters -  people that actually came to your house and helped with paranormal issues. I was hooked!

In 2011 I was introduced to Paracon. I was able to sharpen my skills as a student, and in October of 2013 I was asked to become a member. I was finally a paranormal investigator!

In 2014 my chapter with D.A.M.M. Ladies of the Paranormal began. Together with my paranormal family Marcia, Angela and Mary, we will start our new quest - finding answers for our clients so they won’t have to live in fear of the unknown.
